Global GreenTag Welcomes New Team Members and Celebrates Key Transitions for 2026

Meet who's new and who's stepped up on the GreenTag Internaitonal team ..

Global GreenTag International begins 2026 with new energy, welcoming talented colleagues, celebrating internal promotions, and expanding its capabilities to support industries worldwide seeking trusted sustainability certification.

As demand grows globally for transparent, science-based product certification, the organisation is strengthening its team across sales, certification, marketing and digital technology. A new Information Technology and Software Development capability has been established to support Global GreenTag's growing digital infrastructure and platform development.

At the same time, Global GreenTag takes the opportunity to acknowledge and thank valued colleagues who have contributed to the organisation and are now moving forward to new professional chapters.

David Baggs, CEO, Technical Director and Cofounder of Global GreenTag International, said the appointments reflect the organisation's continued evolution.

These appointments position Global GreenTag to continue supporting manufacturers and industries worldwide — including the built environment sector — with the independent, science-based verification they rely on."

Strengthening the Sales Team

Global GreenTag welcomes Jamie O'Neill as Global Sales and Business Development Manager.

Jamie brings extensive experience across entrepreneurship, engineering services and business development in both the United States and Australia. Having spent more than 25 years working in the US, she brings valuable international perspective and relationship-building expertise that will support GreenTag's engagement with manufacturers and sustainability leaders worldwide.

Joining the sales team is Freya Yang, appointed Technical Sales Executive.

Freya holds a Master's Degree in Environmental Management from the University of Queensland and brings expertise in sustainability research, ESG analysis and regulatory frameworks including CBAM, the Safeguard Mechanism and NGER. Her work helps translate complex sustainability requirements into practical insights for manufacturers and organisations navigating evolving environmental expectations.

Marketing and Communications

We also welcome Zoe Chiang as Marketing Assistant.

Currently completing a Master of Business (Organisational Sustainability) at the University of Queensland, Zoe brings experience in sustainable fashion marketing and digital communications. She will be driving Global GreenTag's social media and its digital marketing campaigns.

Leadership in Certification

GreenTag congratulates Yathu Harikumar who has been promoted to Assessment Team Leader, leading Global GreenTag's Certification Team.

An Exemplar Global Environmental Management Systems Lead Auditor, Yathu brings strong knowledge of major sustainability rating systems including Green Star®, LEED®, BREEAM®, WELL™, Homestar NZ and the IS rating tool, helping ensure GreenTag's certification programs align with frameworks used across industries worldwide

Expanding Digital Capability

Global GreenTag has established a new Information Technology and Software Development capability to support its growing digital ecosystem.

We welcome Akshay Benny, IT and Software Development Associate, who brings international experience in software engineering and backend development using Java and Spring Boot. Akshay contributes to the design and maintenance of scalable backend systems, system architecture development, and data integration initiatives including Salesforce platform improvements.

We also welcome Brendan Zheng Ying Siah, Software Development Assistant. Brendan is completing a Master's Degree in Computer Science at The University of Queensland and contributing to the development of a cross-platform mobile application for Global GreenTag users, helping deliver new digital tools for the certification ecosystem.

Continuing Partnerships and New Ways of Working with GreenTag

As part of Global GreenTag's evolving business model, we are pleased to announce that Tyann Scott, previously Global Sales and Business Development Manager, will continue working with us in an external role in Strategic Manufacturer Development. Tyann's understanding of sustainable product specification and industry needs remains a valuable asset as GreenTag expands its network of certified manufacturers.

Acknowledging Contributions and Farewells
Global GreenTag also thanks two valued colleagues whose contributions have helped shape the organisation.

We say farewell to Yasmin Kelly, former Assessment Team Leader within the Certification Team. Yasmin played an important role in strengthening GreenTag's certification programs and technical delivery before moving on this year to pursue a new career pathway.

We also give our thanks to Emma Mulholland, who supported client services and sales engagement, helping manufacturers navigate certification proposals, renewals and client relationships.
