On this episode of the Talking Green series, Global GreenTag talks with Stormtech's Managing Director Troy Creighton, revealing the benefits of GreenTag certification from an industry perspective at Design Show Australia 2023.
To ensure the best sustainable outcomes during the certification process, Stormtech has made decisions to reduce chemical use and electricity as well as to acquire modern equipment. The results were very positive, leading to less input costs.
Troy says: "being sustainable has actually saved us money."
Moreover, through their product stewardship program, Stormtech has implemented waste reduction practices by responsibly sourcing vinyl for their PVC components and ensuring that only one tenth of their PVC goes into landfill as cutting dust.
