Due to popular demand on the concept of Biophilic Cities, GreenTag's Conversations Series invited Biophilic design expert - Jo Caughtry - to be a guest speaker and broaden our minds on the endless possibilities of Biophilic design principles within the built environment.
Jo Caughtry brings the natural balances of Biophila's three core principles into schools, hospitals, seniors living and homes. As a Biophilic Design Consultant, Holistic Interior Designer HH Dip (I.Des), a qualified Health Care Professional and Aged Care Specialist, she is dedicated to creating spaces, which incorporate wellbeing.
Jo has an extensive aged care nursing and management background, as well as qualifications in Biophilic Design and Holistic Interior Design. She has a unique understanding of how the built form and its design and interiors can influence how people feel and behave. This is particularly pertinent in the aged care dementia space and autism/special needs education space.
Conversations' host, former GreenTag Sales and Certification specialist Brett Hazlett invited Jo to take participants in this session for a journey through her projects and visions for the built environment.
