Global GreenTag International is speaking about sustainable product certification in Auckland on Thursday, June 26 at an event hosted by Project Floors (NZ). Guest speaker from Global GreenTag is Tyann Scott, GreenTag's Global Sales and Business Development Manager who will be speaking to the topic of responsible manufacturing.
Presenting also for Project Floors at the event at Tailor Inc in Auckland's CBD, is Phil Smith, Founder of the award-winning Smith Architects.
A New Zealand owned and operated flooring solution company, Project Floors have more than 20 years of knowledge and experience for the local flooring industry, designing, manufacturing and specialising in all aspects of commercial and residential flooring solutions.
One of their product ranges - ProTile Econyl with EcoTX backing – is certified by Global GreenTag at GreenRate™ Level A- a loop pile made of solution-dyed nylons with benefits including health and ecotoxicity (with low VOC levels and no toxicity issues of concern), containing recycled content and featuring a product takeback scheme at the end of life.
For the event, Project Floors is showcasing another carpet product called Thrive® which they claim to be the world's first carbon negative carpet fibre. The product contains matter that is certified under Project Floors' GreenTag certified ProTile Econyl with EcoTX backing range.
