Global GreenTag gets under the hood and ingredients of Stonewall Platinum's risk averse building material

The Stonewall Platinum interview part II has just been published, delving into ASPECT VIVID® 's unique & popular features, while highlighting the value of Global GreenTag accreditation.

Having rolled out a product to help prevent large fire outbreaks inside buildings that have been commonplace around the world, the team from Stonewall Platinum unpacks with Global GreenTag these issues and how they created ASPECT VIVID® as a building material for projects to prevent future fire tragedies.

After an insightful episode exploring the company's roots, Brett Hazlett, Business Development Director of Global GreenTag International, the host of Talking Green continues talking with Stonewall Platinum's core team: Director of Operations - Michael Fortunato, Director of Finance - Luca Fortunato and Director of Sales & Product Development - Paul Srbinovski.

Posing questions and proposing solutions for the future, in this episode, the Stonewall Platinum Team brings up the two aspects that have been driving the popularity and growth of their ASPECT VIVID material in the market: "non-combustible and sustainable."

Director of Sales & Product Development Paul Srbinovski points out that safety is a core feature of ASPECT VIVID®, hence made of natural stone, while insulation panels are commonly composed of rigid foam, a plastic-orientated product that can yield toxic smoke.

Moving on to the sustainability component of ASPECT VIVID®, the Stonewall Platinum Team confirms how relevant sustainable accreditation is in the market right now and the message is clear: Tier one builders commonly demand building materials that were awarded green accreditation as a pre-requisite for projects.


The Stonewall Platinum team says it is invested fully in product certification because it protects clients and the environment and, their particular certifications for ASPECT VIVID®, provide assurance that their product follows world-class sustainability and health guidelines and that is very close to Stonewall Platinum's heart.

With regard to certification, ASPECT VIVID® has been awarded with a Global GreenTag Product Health Declaration™ (GreenTag PHD™), a PlatinumHEALTH ™ HealthRATE™ outcome and a Global GreenTag, GreenRate™ Level A certification.

The Global GreenTag Product Health Declaration™ is a certification tool that proves to the world that a product is healthy, interpreting product toxicity data, using simple easy to understand colour keys to explain risk and identifying risks.

Moreover, the GreenTag HealthRATE™ mark clearly communicates for manufacturers, industry and consumers a measurement of the varying levels of healthiness of their products as well.

Furthermore, the GreenTag GreenRate™ mark provides manufacturers with whole of sustainability product assessment without requiring a Life Cycle Analysis, yet the reach of its assessment components for leverage of certification in the market, is substantial.
