Global GreenTag Talking at DesignBUILD

Global GreenTag is heading to DesignBUILD REIMAGINED in Melbourne in May and we hope to see you there!

DesignBUILD brings together Australia's architecture, building, construction and design communities. The event is always evolving and looking to the future and in 2022, is more relevant than ever before!

This year, David Baggs, CEO and Program Director of Global GreenTag International will be part of two exciting panel speaking events, as part of DesignBUILD's education series – dealing with topics from climate change to understanding the landscape of eco-labels.

On Tuesday, May 10, David brings together an impressive team of speakers to facilitate the panel topic of how to tackle climate change fast and prevent it wreaking more havoc.

Titled: Getting beyond Carbon Net Zero to Zero: Is it Even Possible for the Built Environment? The session will be posing the question, how? Will NetZero be the solution? Can the built environment get to Zero by 2050? The session commences at 1.30pm and will bring together the voices of Jorge Chapa (Green Building Council of Australia), Neil Logan (BVN Architects), Dominique Hes (City of Melbourne Greenfleet), Claire Bowles (i2C Architects) and Geoff Heard (Fytogreen Australia) to discuss potential roadmaps and solutions.

On Wednesday, May 11 at 12.30pm, Global GreenTag will also be talking on the panel session: Navigating Products and Procurement Across Multiple Rating Schemes – to help shed light for designers who are looking to make product choices that meet environmental standards and client expectations.

For this event, David Baggs joins Jack Noonan from International WELL Building Institute, Nicola Smith (Living Future Institute of Australia), Michelle Thomas (Good Environmental Choice) and Hayley Jarick (Supply Chain Sustainability School Limited) to help DesignBUILD visitors understand the different systems, and which to use and why.

These events are free! Please come and join us.

DesignBUILD REIMAGINED runs over two days (co-locating with Total Facilities , Australia's leading event for the Facilities Management).
