Jeff Oatman

Head of Collaboration and Membership at Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA), Jeff has been with GBCA since 2010, rising to the Director of Certification for GBCA's Green Star® Rating Tools program in 2014. In his current role, Jeff is responsible for ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement across the GBCA's broad member base of members across the country. This includes raising awareness of GBCA activities and working with members to engage most effectively in this. He also sits on the World Green Building Council's Asia Pacific Network Advisory Board.

Jack Noonan

Jack is a building and environmental scientist who works as the Vice President, Australia and New Zealand, at the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI); a public benefit organisation whose mission is to improve human health and well-being in buildings and communities through the WELL Building Standard. Jack's role involves leading the IWBI support and operations in the region. His specialisations include, Built Environment, Sustainability, Rating Tools, Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ), Green Buildings, Health Buildings, Hazardous Materials, NABERS, Commercial Building Disclosure, Water Quality and Stakeholder Engagement. Prior to IWBI, Jack was the Manager of Climate Change Programs at Sustainability Victoria, which included the world-leading TAKE2 climate change program.

Brett Hazlett

Specialised in certification and verification strategies, Brett Hazlett has worked in the green building space for over a decade as a champion for sustainable product manufacturers. He has helped progressive manufacturers around the world to plan and implement third party assessment pathways for their sustainable product lines. Particularly for green building products that comply with building rating tools and programs, focused upon reducing environmental footprint and creating safer and healthier environments for people to live and work in, like Green Star®, the WELL Building Standard™ and LEED®. Brett has always had a passion for the natural world. He was with Global GreenTag when the Type 1 ecolabel and product certification standard was first launched in 2011. Since 2008, he has also managed Verified Product assessment accounts for Ecospecifier Global, working with manufacturers throughout Australasia, Asia and UAE.
