Vienna by Pelle Leathers
A sustainable product choice for David Jones Headquarters
Pelle Leathers' Global GreenTag CertTM GreenRate™ Level B certified product - Vienna - was chosen for the interiors design of the Head Quarters of the David Jones and Country Road Group in Sydney.
In this case study, shared by Pelle Leathers on their Instagram page, Interiors Designer Gray Puksand worked with the manufacturer's certified leather product 'Vienna,' which is a 1.0-1.2 mm full grain Semi Aniline upholstery leather with a range of 111 colours.
Puksand created an Australian design narrative drawing on the natural landscape for inspiration, and part of that strategy was to ensure that he used local suppliers like Pelle Leathers who use ethical supply chains.
The product exhibits the natural characteristics and variations of leather. It is evenly coloured and protected for high light fastness and durability. With a soft hand it is ideally suited for both commercial and residential use.
