Biophilic Cities - Part 2

Due to popular demand on the concept of Biophilic Cities, we have invited another expert on the subject - Jo Caughtry - to be our guest on Wednesday, December 7 for the next episode of the Global GreenTag International Conversations' Series. Jo will broaden our minds on the endless possibilities within the built environment and Biophilic design principles.

Jo Caughtry brings the natural balances of Biophila's three core principles into schools, hospitals, seniors living and homes. As a Biophilic Design Consultant, Holistic Interior Designer HH Dip (I.Des), a qualified Health Care Professional and Aged Care Specialist, she is dedicated to creating spaces, which incorporate wellbeing.

Jo has an extensive aged care nursing and management background, as well as qualifications in Biophilic Design and Holistic Interior Design. She has a unique understanding of how the built form and its design and interiors can influence how people feel and behave. This is particularly pertinent in the aged care dementia space and autism/special needs education space.

Conversations' host, Brett Hazlett says: "Jo is a wonderful find. We are very excited to have her as our next guest. We met her in person last month at Design Show Australia. Her passion and focus to work from a foundation of Biophilic Design is inspiring.

"It will be a great opportunity to chat more with this very interesting practitioner who will be taking us on a journey through her projects and visions for the built environment. Equally, it will be a good opportunity for our manufacturers with GreenTag certified products, and for our webinar subscribers from the fields of architecture and design to engage Jo with questions of their own."

Jo Caughtry is a Board Member for Biophilic Cities Australia. Her website is www.seaofideasdesign.com/

Brett Hazlett, host of the Conversations' Series is the Global Certification Sales Manager for Global GreenTag International.
