The original 40/4® chair by David Rowland is a multi-purpose stacking chair designed for conferencing, meetings, training, dining, and guest seating. It is stackable up to 40 pieces on a dolly.
Fire performance has been proven with passes of:
- Non-ignition test according to the criteria of ignition described in EN 1021-1, chapter 3 (Report Number: 177773-2-PMI) and EN 1021-2, chapter 3 (Report Number: 177773-7-PMI), done by Danish Technological Institute in March 2023
Regarding VOC emissions and formaldehyde, product complies with the requirements of ANSI/BIFMA M7.1-2011 by Danish Technological Institute in June 2021 (Report Number 960806-9-M71 rev. 1)
Regarding strength, product follows the requirements of:
- ANSI/BIFMA X5.4-2020 (Report Number: 226842-8-ANSI/BIFMA X5.4), tests done by Danish Technological Institute in July 2024.
