Weathertex Primed Flat Sheets and Weatherboards are flat sheets and weatherboards pre-primed acrylic, water-based primer and made of sustainably-sourced Australian hardwood timber with no added formaldehyde.

The Weathertex Primed Flat Sheets and Weatherboards are available in various styles, textures and sizes and can be incorporate with other Weathertex products for multiple design options. These Primed Flat Sheets and Weatherboards come with a pre-applied primer coating and are intended to be painted.

The Weathertex Primed Flat Sheets and Weatherboards products ranges include Traditional lapped weatherboards, Selflok weatherboards, Weathergroove Architectural Panels, and Rubix Architectural Panels.

These Primed Flat Sheets and Weatherboards are cladding products made from natural Australian hardwood timber from responsibly managed Responsible Wood/PEFC-certified NSW state forests and NSW Government Land Services approved private native forestry.

Weathertex Primed Flat Sheets and Weatherboards are compliant to AS/NZS1859.4 - Wet Processed Fibreboard for Exterior Conditions (HB.E). They are Material Group Number 3 under AS/NZS 5637.1 Fire testing. Primelok also has low formaldehyde emissions at <0.07mg/L using AS/NZS 4266.16 and low VOC <0.005 mg/m2/hr using ASTM D5116.

Manufactured in a facility with an ISO14001 conformant Environmental Management System and a certified ISO9001 Quality Management System.

Weathertex offers a 25 year warranty on their pre-primed products. They are suitable for interior and exterior cladding - for residential and commercial application.

The scope of certification applies only to flatsheets and weatherboards when they are being used as a raw product. Products covered included Ecogroove 150 Natural, Ecogroove 75 Natural , Shingles Plus Natural , Vgroove 150 Natural, Weathergroove 1200mm Natural , Weathergroove 150mm Natural, Weathergroove 300mm Natural, Weathergroove 75mm Natural, Weathergroove Fusion Natural.

This Product has been compared to an industry standard PVF coated aluminium sheet product which serves as the business as usual for the cladding product category. The life cycle inventory data compiled for the BAU product was obtained from industry study.
