Armstrong Ceiling’s Fine Fissured and Fine Fissured high acoustic are high performance, low VOC, durable mineral fibre ceiling panels containing up to 54% recycled content, a nondirectional visual to reduce installation time and scrap, as well as HumiGuard Plus performance to inhibit panel sag. Fine Fissured High Acoustic is the high performance option, with an NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) of 0.70 and a minimum CAC (Ceiling Attenuation Class) of 35. These products are thus ideal for use in typical commercial applications requiring a good acoustical environment such as school class rooms, offices, auditoriums and corridors.
Dune is also a mineral fibre ceiling product that is coated with a durable fine textured acrylic latex paint with BioBlock™ mould/mildew inhibitor. The products has been tested to have good sound absorbing and attenuation properties and contains up to 42% recycled content.
Dune Max with its microperforated, finely sanded surface, offers improved levels of sound absorption (NRC 0.70) and sound attenuation (CAC 33), making it a great choice for classrooms and other areas requiring acoustical control.
These products also have a light reflectance of 85%.
