Durasafe® Compact Laminate is comprised of paper and phenolic resin. These panels are available in a variety of colours and prints.

Durasafe® has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties and can be used in wet areas in applications such as bathroom partitioning systems, privacy panels, locker systems, bench seating, vanity benches and other custom requirements.

Durasafe® Compact Laminate also has applications outside of wet areas through the cut-to-size service. Durasafe® Compact Laminates have a ATSO 5660.1-2015 Group 1 fire resistance and have undergone antimicrobial testing using ASTM G21-09, JIS Z 2801:2010 and ISO 21702:2019 and found to be resistant to a variety of fungi, microbes and virus. These panels have a Greenguard Gold certification with a TVOC of <0.22 mg/m3 and formaldehyde emission of <0.009 mg/m3, thus, have low VOC and formaldehyde emissions. Durasafe® is manufactured in a facility with an ISO 14001 certified Environmental Management System and a ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System. Duracube® operates a product stewardship program for this product.

Issues of Concern/Red Lights The products have successfully passed the relevant GreenTag Standard's Cautionary Assessment Process and no issues of concern or red lights comments exist regarding the toxicity of the products for use. Melamine, a substance on the candidate list for ECHA's SVHC, is used during manufacturing as an intermediary chemical. As it is not present in the final product, and additional safety measures are in place in the factory, this product passes the toxicity assessment.
