Happy Green Packaging by Starkson Packaging's Paper Cups and Clamshells are food safe containers made from paper with a polypropylene coating. The polypropylene coating is made with an additive that promotes biodegradation of the product in landfill conditions. These products are available in a variety of sizes.
These products were tested for anaerobic biodegradation in 2021 using ASTM D5511-12 where there was 63.2% biodegradation in a 36 week period.
