Judy Abernethy

Judy Abernethy brings to her role as a Technical Sales Executive considerable experience in community engagement and new business development. She is an accomplished specialist in partnership development, sponsorship, promotions and events management with long experience in the Arts, Finance and NFP sectors.

Before joining Global GreenTag International, Judy was involved in governance related work, as a Business Support Officer with the Board of Professional Engineers, Queensland.

For eleven years prior Judy worked for a co-operative bank - arguably Australia's most environmentally and socially responsible bank - now known as Bank Australia where she purchased partnership arrangements and developed new business in the community sector, while also networking through the sustainability-oriented business sector of Brisbane.

Earlier in her career, Judy worked in executive recruitment. Her Australian Arts Industry experience of 10 years, developed her deep knowledge and experience in partnership development, stakeholder engagement and event management, including, selling sponsorship packages to the corporate sector while also engaging senior State Government representatives for the Queensland Theatre Company.

Judy also has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland.
