Yathu Harikumar

Yathu is qualified as an Exemplar Global Environmental Management Systems Lead Auditor with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (primarily building construction) and holds a Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering and Pollution Control from Griffith University, Brisbane.

As Product Assessment Team Leader and Program Director delegate, Yathu is driving continuous improvement across data processes and systems. His responsibilities as Assessment Team Leader are directly aligned with the services Global GreenTag provides, with a strong focus on life cycle assessments (LCA), environmental product declarations (EPDs), recycled content standard, carbon accounting and rigorous auditing practices for various certifications. The role also involves client liaison, proposal preparation, project management, information collation and assessment, environmental technical research, website maintenance and certification collateral production and reporting and, working with client technical and factory representatives to achieve certifications under the Global GreenTag Standards.

As a Senior Environmental Engineer at Global GreenTag, Yathu plays a pivotal role in advancing sustainability and ensuring compliance across diverse environmental standards.

Yathu has previous experience in the manufacturing sectors in developing environmentally friendly solutions for clients to address environmental based problems/issues. He is knowledgeable in the major green building rating tools, including Green Star® Australia and South Africa, LEED® and BREEAM®, Homestar NZ, WELL™ and the IS rating tool.

For Global GreenTag International, Yathu handles all aspects of contract administration to ensure contracts are compliant with and fulfill contractual conditions. His role embodies a blend of technical expertise, regulatory compliance, and sustainable advocacy, making a tangible impact of GreenTag's mission to transform markets through the certification of environmentally responsible products.
