A qualified Exemplar Global Environmental Management Systems Lead Auditor, Abrisham holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science from the Southern Cross University in Australia. He is currently based in Europe completing the master's thesis research within the Erasmus joint masters between EHU (University of the Basque Country), UPPA (University of Pau and the Adour Region) and UP (University of Porto) in Environmental Contamination and Toxicology degree at EHU (University of the Basque Country).
Abrisham collaborates towards nature positive systems that heal human systems from trauma and prevent violence. He collaborated with Doctor Natalia Olszewska, a researcher and practitioner in Neuroscience Applied to Architectural Design, on the themes of trauma, healing and built environment. Today, his research direction is focused on sovereign yet interconnected energy, water and food systems for climate change resilience.
Abrisham's work in eco-labelling acts as a crucial point in building healthier built environments for both human and non-human communities. It verifies claims, claims which build towards visions of the future we want to invest in and realise.
