Global GreenTag reviews the Standard every 3 years, at a minimum, as a part of Continuous Improvement process in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14024 and ISO 17065.
Introducing the NAC
The NAC provides independent advice to the GreenTag Management Team on program oversight within each country or region, ensuring transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement of the GreenTag Certification Program.
The International Standard NAC is comprised of representatives of industry bodies or associations typical of any NAC. It does not include suppliers representing their own or any other private organisation. It includes up to 12 members where each is selected from one of the following organisation types with each type having up to the following number of members:
Committee size: 5–12 members, representing professional associations, NGOs, academia, government, and manufacturing sectors. The NAC is chaired by the GreenTag Program Director (or nominee). Sub-committees may be formed, chaired by NAC members.
The NAC assists GreenTag Program operation with issues as follows:
- Operation of the Program
- Further development of this Standard
- Development of any product category specific standards
- Stakeholder review processes
- Dispute or Conflict resolution processes
- Appeals relating to Certification issues.
