Polyboards Waterproof Panel is a waterproof, lightweight rigid polyurethane foam panel. It is designed to be used in wet areas of construction and marine projects. It comes with different thicknesses, sizes and densities- ranging from 300 kg/m3 to 950 kg/m3. It can be used in external decking system as a substrate, build-in furniture, interior and exterior marine applications, and wet areas in flooring and wall applications when it is covered with tiles, plasterboards or other durable coating or covering.
The panel is tested against different standards to show the fit for purpose. It is AS/ISO 923.39.1-2003 tested fire-retardant, AS/NZS 4284:2008 tested building facades for water penetration tests and structural tests with various static and cyclic pressures, and it is in accordance with AS/NZS 1170.1 structural loading test and AS 4055:2012 wind loads test. It is a structural insulated panel with R-value 2.8, and it is also a low VOC product, tested against ASTM D5116.
