About
Kingfield Galvanizing Hot Dip Galvanized Steel
TOP 3 Benefits:
- Health & Ecotoxicity
- Product Synergy
- Environmental Management System
Kingfield Galvanizing applies Hot Dip Galvanizing (HDG) to fabricated steel components in Australia's first state-of-the-art hot dip galvanizing facility. The plant integrates enclosed zones and automated materials handling systems to ensure the steel substrate is prepared for galvanizing in a uniform manner, thus reducing the consumption of chemicals through the pre-treatment process. The drying facility and hot dip galvanizing process is conducted within enclosed zones to prevent emissions entering the atmosphere. Waste generated by the HDG process is recycled and re-used, heat from the furnace is reclaimed, water is recycled within the plant and energy used, per tonne of galvanized steel, is reduced. The processes are designed to minimise the environmental footprint of hot dip galvanizing and contribute to reducing emissions within Australia's built environment.
