The products have successfully passed the Ecospecifier Cautionary Assessment Process (ESCAP). The scope of certification includes 3mm and 4mm thick rubber flooring only. The product uses a binder which contains a small amount of 4,4'-Diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI). This ingredient is categorised with R20, R36/37/38, R40, R42/43 and R48. Any potential risk is more likely to happen during the manufacturing process. The manufacturer of MDI provided OHSAS 18001 certificate to prove that workers are well protected from occupational risks.. Rephouse factory also provided sufficient documents that demonstrate a proper Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) system is implemented in the factory to mitigate these risks.
